Why our Silver is rhodium, not plain sterling: sterling silver on its own scratches and tarnishes easily. So we only use solid 925 sterling silver where it is protected, as the rich core inside our gold vermeil.

Vermeil rings are made to the size you choose, so this one is crafted to fit rather than adjusted. Worth measuring twice. The plated finishes stay one size and adjustable, if you would rather not have to.
Not sure of the size? Two ways to find it
You already own a ring that fits. Measure the inside edge to edge across the middle with a ruler, in millimeters, and read it off the diameter column below. This is the accurate one.
You do not. Wrap a strip of paper around the base of the finger, mark where it overlaps, lay it flat and measure to the mark. That is the circumference column. Snug, not tight, and never use anything stretchy: elastic and string both read small.
Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are at their largest. Cold hands can read a full half size under. If the knuckle is wider than the base of the finger, measure both and choose between them, so the ring clears the knuckle without spinning once it is on.

The EU column is the international standard, ISO 8653, and it is simply the inside circumference rounded to the nearest millimeter. France uses the same numbers. Italy, Spain and Switzerland subtract 40 from them, so an EU 52 is an Italian 12.
Most ordered: US 6 for women, US 9 to 10 for men. UK letters are the closest equivalent rather than an exact match and drift slightly at the ends of the range. Between two sizes, take the larger one: a slightly loose ring is a much smaller problem than a tight one. Still unsure? Message us before you order rather than after. A ring made to a size and carrying a name cannot be resized afterwards, so we would much rather help you get it right the first time.

Four finishes, and they are not the same kind of thing underneath.
- Gold · 18K Plated, Silver · Rhodium Plated and Rose Gold · 18K Plated. A stainless steel base, never brass, finished in 18K gold PVD, rhodium or 18K rose gold PVD. PVD bonds the finish to the steel, so it is far more durable than standard gold plating and fully waterproof.
- 18K Gold Vermeil. Solid 925 sterling silver under a minimum of 2.5 microns of real 18K gold. That is genuine precious metal, noticeably heavier in the hand, and warmer in color.
The plated three are the tougher option. Vermeil is the precious one.
Can I wear it in the shower or the pool?
In Gold, Silver and Rose Gold, yes. Those three are fully waterproof and tarnish resistant, so you can shower, swim, sweat and sleep in it without taking it off.
In 18K Gold Vermeil, take it off first. Vermeil is real gold over solid sterling silver rather than a hard industrial coating, so it asks for the care fine jewelry has always asked for: off before swimming, off before a long soak, and on after perfume rather than before.
Will it fade, tarnish or turn my skin green?
No. Skin turns green because of the brass or copper underneath cheap plating, and no Gemiria piece is built on either. The plated finishes have a nickel free finish, and 18K Gold Vermeil is nickel free through and through.
The plated finishes are covered for 10 years against premature tarnishing, discoloration and chain or clasp failure under normal wear.
18K Gold Vermeil has its own 2 year warranty on the same terms.
Is it hypoallergenic?
Yes. Our Gold, Silver and Rose Gold finishes are made on a stainless steel base, never brass, with a nickel free finish: the surface that touches your skin is 18K gold, rhodium or 18K rose gold. That is why most sensitive skin wears them happily every day, with no green marks and no irritation.
If you have a diagnosed nickel allergy, choose 18K Gold Vermeil. It is solid 925 sterling silver under real 18K gold, nickel free through and through.
How many characters fit?
Up to 9 characters, typed as one continuous word. The field does not take spaces, because a space is almost always somebody trying to fit two names onto a piece built for one. For two or more names, we make a separate piece where each name gets its own field.
Final letter forms are made properly rather than swapped for their regular versions, which is the detail most name jewelry gets wrong.
Do I need to know a ring size?
It depends on the finish.
- Gold, Silver and Rose Gold. No size needed. Those three are adjustable open bands, one size, so you can order one as a gift without measuring a finger or asking an awkward question first. Widen or narrow it gently with your fingers once it arrives.
- 18K Gold Vermeil. Yes. Vermeil rings are made to the size you choose, US 4 to 12 in half sizes, and they are not adjustable. Real gold over solid sterling silver wears at a bend, so we make the band to fit rather than asking you to flex it.

One thing worth knowing before you pick. A vermeil ring is made to your size and carries a name, so it cannot be resized afterwards, and a size change is not something we can exchange or refund. Message us before you order if you are at all unsure and we will help you get it right. Anything that is our error, a defect or a production mistake, is covered exactly as always: a free replacement or a full refund, with return shipping on us.
How long does it take to arrive?
Every piece is made after you order it, so there are two clocks.
- Production: 7 to 10 days.
- Delivery: 1 to 2 weeks after it ships.
- Total: most orders arrive within 2 to 4 weeks of the order date.

What happens if the name comes out wrong?
If the error is ours, we replace it free or refund you in full, and we cover the return shipping with a prepaid label. Report it within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a photo.
If the spelling submitted was wrong, we cannot remake it free, because the piece was made to exactly that text. This is why the live preview exists, and why customization can still be changed within 24 hours of ordering, before production starts.
Personalized items are exempt from the standard EU right of withdrawal under Consumer Rights Directive Article 16(c). That exemption never applies to a defect or a production error.
How do I look after it?
Very little, and none of it is fussy.
- Wipe it with the included microfiber cloth after lotion or perfume.
- For a deeper clean use mild soap and warm water, then pat dry.
- Store it in its box, and keep pieces apart so they do not scratch each other.
- Keep it away from bleach, chlorine soaking, abrasive cleaners and ultrasonic cleaners.
- In 18K Gold Vermeil, take it off before swimming, long soaks, perfume and hairspray.
Do I need to be able to type in Hebrew?
