Our Commitment to You
We stand behind every Gemiria piece. Each order is custom-made and carefully quality-checked before shipping. If your jewelry arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we will make it right with a free replacement or a full refund.
As all Gemiria jewelry is custom-made to order and internationally fulfilled, please review this policy carefully before placing your order.
Custom & Personalized Jewelry
Gemiria specializes exclusively in made-to-order, personalized jewelry created specifically with your chosen name, text, characters, font, and size.
We accept returns for defective, damaged, or misprinted items within 14 days. Due to the highly personalized nature of our handcrafted items, we review buyer's remorse returns on a case-by-case basis.
Under EU Consumer Rights Directive Article 16(c), personalized goods made to a customer’s specifications are exempt from the standard right of withdrawal.
This exemption does not affect your rights if:

The item arrives damaged or defective

We made an error in production (wrong name, wrong finish, wrong product)
-
The item is materially different from what was ordered
In these cases, we will offer a free replacement or a full refund.
How to Report a Defective or Incorrect Item
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us at info@gemiria.com within 14 days of delivery and include:

Clear photos showing the problem
Once approved, we will provide clear instructions for the next steps.

Return Shipping Costs (Approved Defect Cases Only)
For approved cases involving defective, damaged, or incorrect items:

Return shipping is fully covered by Gemiria

We provide a prepaid return label at no cost
Returns for reasons other than defects or production errors are not accepted for personalized items.
Delivery Timing Note
Most customers receive their jewelry within 10–28 days from the order date, including production and shipping.
In rare cases, delivery may take longer due to customs processing or remote delivery locations.
This delivery timing does not affect your right to report defective or incorrect items within the timeframe stated above.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:

Custom and personalized jewelry (except in cases of defects, damage, or production errors)

Sale or clearance items

Gift cards

Items without proof of purchase
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges.
If a replacement is needed due to a defect or error, it will be handled under our defective-item policy at no cost.
For all other cases, customers may place a new order.
Refund Process
Once a returned item (if required) is received and inspected:

You will be notified by email of approval or rejection

Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days

Refunds are issued to the original payment method
Please allow additional time for your bank or card provider to complete processing.
If more than 15 business days have passed since approval without receiving a refund, please contact info@gemiria.com.
Warranty Claims
All Gemiria jewelry includes a lifetime warranty covering:

Manufacturing defects

Premature tarnishing or discoloration

Structural issues such as chain or clasp failure under normal wear
Warranty claims are handled separately from returns and apply to issues that arise after delivery.
To start a warranty claim, contact info@gemiria.com with your order number and photos of the issue.
This commercial warranty is provided in addition to your statutory consumer rights under EU and Hungarian law.
