IMPORTANT: Custom and Personalized Jewelry
Because we create custom jewelry with your personalized designs (names, text, or image), all personalized and custom-made items are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive defective or damaged. This is stated clearly at checkout before you complete your purchase.
EU/UK 14-Day Right of Withdrawal (Non-Personalized Items Only)
If you are a resident of the European Union or United Kingdom, you have a legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the item, without giving a reason.
This right does not apply to:
- Custom or personalized jewelry (Article 16(c) EU Consumer Rights Directive)
- Items that have been worn or used
- Items without original packaging or tags
Our commercial 30-day return policy applies globally and extends your rights but does not limit your legal protections.
Standard Returns (Non-Personalized Items Only)
We offer a 30-day return policy for non-personalized jewelry items. You have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
Eligibility Requirements
- Item must be unworn and unused
- Item must be in original packaging with all tags attached
- You must have the receipt or proof of purchase
- Item must not be personalized or custom-made
How to Start a Return
Contact us at info@gemiria.com with your order number and reason for return.
If your return is approved, we will provide detailed instructions on where to send your item.

Return Shipping Costs
- For non-defective returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service
- We are not responsible for return parcels lost in transit
- Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted
Defective or Damaged Items
Custom jewelry typically arrives within 7-40 days from the order date (2–5 days production plus 3–35 days shipping).
If your item arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately at info@gemiria.com with photos of the issue.
For defective or damaged items:
- We will provide a prepaid return label at no cost
- You may choose a full refund or a replacement
- This applies to all items, including personalized jewelry
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Custom and personalized jewelry (engraving, custom names, text, designs)
- Sale or clearance items
- Gift cards
- Items without proof of purchase
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges.
If you need a different size, color, or style:
- Return your original item (if eligible)
- Once the return is approved and processed, place a new order for the desired item
European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If you are an EU resident, you may cancel or return your order within 14 days of receipt, except for:
- Custom or personalized jewelry (per EU Directive Article 16(c))
- Items that have been worn or used
- Items returned without original packaging or tags
Eligible EU returns must be in original condition: unworn, unused, with tags, and in original packaging.
Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your returned item:
- You will be notified by email whether your return is approved
- Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
For EU/UK withdrawals, refunds are issued within 14 days of receiving the item or receiving proof that the item was shipped back.
Please allow extra time for your bank or card provider to complete the processing.
If more than 15 business days have passed without a refund, contact us at info@gemiria.com.
Warranty Claims
All Gemiria jewelry includes a 2-year warranty covering manufacturing defects, tarnishing, and chain breakage.
Warranty claims are handled separately from returns.

This commercial warranty is in addition to your statutory rights under EU and Hungarian consumer law where applicable.
